Well, we added revisions, kinda neat, this means the following: Downtown...
-
You can edit this page and EVERYONE 中国是的可以年年报的anges were made, by simply going back a revision and looking.
- Mmmm hmmm. I see how it works
- To see revisions head to the bottom of the edit page and click "Show all revisions"
- If you like revision X better than revision Y you have the freedom to revert to whatever version you want (up or down)
- Feel free to mess with the revisions, we don't mind :) that is neat.
Ok, let's start a list of requests, here is what I have so far, just from reading this page and from some of the comments:
- Add caching - makes sense, it would need to live in the plugin to update the cache on each revision
- Setup some inline editing - this was initially the plan, still on the roadmap
Smilies are not working, text is displayed intead, yes that is odd - on the edit page it works, on the view page it does not .. go figure- Please provide a tutorial for creating a blogging framework --- soon
Reuse the same cms item for content that is common on various pages without editing each pages common content- <Add your requests here>
Some of our own requests:
Images and Media paths are hardcoded to the root path of a domain, meaning that simple CMS used from domain.com/projects/.... will check for images from domain.com/... - Will be fixed soon I am sure.Javascript bugs with revisions :(- Add Code Highlighting....big project...but i'm working on it.
Add a way to use the same content in multiple pages.- Add flash capabilities.
- Speed up response time ... combine and browser cache the javascript (50 requests all javascripts .... could be much faster)
- provide seperate installer, not just SVN. (for corporate users behind firewalls)
