Got a real mountain bike
2008 Kona Hei-Hei 2-9
Albuquerque just had its annual bike swap this last weekend. I bought another bike (!) - making the total count: 2 road bikes and 5 mountain bikes. It's a 2008 Kona Hei-Hei 2-9. It's a pretty studdly bike - 20" frame, 29" wheels, full suspension, hydraulic disk brakes and great components. It puts my last mountain bike to shame.

A bike costing $2500? What’s in it that makes it so expensive?
Yah, you’re telling me, it’s a big shock at first. When I started looking for bikes, I was sure I’d find a very good bike for $800.00, but as you do the research and learn about the different components and frames, you soon realize that $800.00 is the low end. For top of the line components and a full carbon frame, you are looking at $2000.00 plus.
